Judy grew up in Hardwick, MA and started to play the trombone in Elementary School. She participated in the Symphonic Winds, Stage Band, Quabbin Singers and Concert Chorus while in High School. She was also chosen to participate in the Central District, All State and New England Festivals on trombone.

She lives in West Chesterfield, NH and owns the
Chesterfield Inn with her husband Phil. She has been there for 17 years.
She and her husband , Phil have two sons, David and Tim.
