Judy Hanson Heuber

 
     Some people may have a hard time remembering Judy, or may never have heard of her because it has been such a long time since she was a member of the Quabbin Community Band, but there are others who fondly remember her.  Judy played in the Quabbin Community Band from 1972-1976 and was also in Mimo's band..  She was a 1975 graduate of the Quabbin Regional High School. 

     Judy grew up in Hardwick, MA and started to play the trombone in Elementary School.  She participated in the Symphonic Winds, Stage Band, Quabbin Singers and Concert Chorus while in High School.  She was also chosen to participate in the Central District, All State and New England Festivals on trombone.

She lives in West Chesterfield, NH and owns the Chesterfield Inn with her husband Phil. She has been there for 17 years.  She and her husband , Phil have two sons, David and Tim.  

 Music is important to the Huber family.  Like Judy, Phil plays trombone.  Tim is 11 and plays trumpet and piano. Dave is 13 and plays alto sax.   She has taken piano

lessons for the last 6 years, and play the trombone in a summer park band in Brattleboro, VT under the direction of Steve Rice.  She is  also a member of the Repertory Singers(Brattleboro Music Center)  under the direction of Susan Dedell.
